Electronic Communications Policy
Please read this information carefully.
This Electronic Communications Policy governs your consent to receive Communications from Renew Financial Group LLC electronically, in accordance with the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (E-SIGN Act, 15 U.S.C. § 7001 et seq.) By checking a box or clicking a button to agree, you provide your legally binding electronic consent, equivalent to a handwritten signature on a paper document.
Definitions
This section defines key terms related to your relationship with Renew Financial Group LLC and its related entities.
- Renew: Refers to Renew Financial Group LLC, along with its subsidiaries and affiliates. In this document, “We,” “us,” and “our” also mean Renew.
- Renew Product: Any current or future account, product, or service that we offer, which you inquire about, apply for, own, use, administer, or access, including electronic services.
- Communication: Any information we must legally provide to you in writing regarding your application or any information we may provide to you related to a Renew Product. This encompasses all agreements, policies, documents, notices, disclosures, and other communications.
Electronic Delivery of Communications
By agreeing to this Electronic Communications Policy, you consent to receive all Communications from us in electronic format. This includes the use of electronic signatures by both you and us for all transactions.
We will provide all electronic communications to you via one of the following methods:
- Directly to the email address or mobile number associated with your account.
- Posted on our website.
- Available within your online account.
Your consent applies to all Communications related to any Renew Product and remains in effect until you notify us of your withdrawal.
Hardware and Software Requirements
Before consenting, please confirm you possess the following required hardware and software capabilities for accessing, viewing, and retaining Communications electronically:
- Computer Access: You must have access to a computer, operating system, and telecommunications connections to the Internet capable of receiving, accessing, and displaying Communications, as well as printing or storing them electronically.
- Browser Requirements: Your Internet browser must meet the following minimum requirements: the current and previous major releases of Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or Safari on a rolling basis. The specific browser must also support at least 256-bit encryption.
- Valid Email: You must have a valid email address (the one on file with Renew).
We will notify you if these requirements change in a way that risks your ability to receive Communications electronically.
By providing your consent, you are confirming that you have access to the necessary equipment and can receive, open, and either print or download a copy of any Communications for your records.
Withdrawing your consent
You can revoke your consent to receive Communications electronically. To do so, please contact us at info@renewfinancial.com. Please note that your withdrawal of consent will not take effect until we have had a reasonable period to process your request.
Should you decide not to provide or withdraw your electronic consent, Renew maintains the right to take actions such as denying your application for a Renew Product, limiting or deactivating your online account, closing your account, or imposing additional charges for receiving paper copies.
Note: Withdrawal of electronic consent does not cancel any existing PACE financing obligation. It affects only the method by which future communications are delivered.
Requesting paper copies of electronic Communications
If you have consented to electronic Communications but later require a paper copy of a Communication we previously provided, you can request one within 180 days of the date it was sent by contacting us using the methods described earlier. To receive paper copies, the “Current Address” in your Renew online account must be a current street address. Please note that Renew may assess a record request fee for each paper copy of a Communication.
Updating your contact information
You are required to promptly notify us of any changes to your email address or smartphone number so that Renew can maintain electronic communication with you. You can update your information by emailing us at info@renewfinancial.com.
You agree and understand that Renew will be considered to have provided you with an electronic Communication even if you do not receive it. This applies if your stored email address or smartphone number is incorrect or outdated, is blocked by your service provider, or you are otherwise unable to receive electronic Communications.
Legal Effect
By consenting to electronic communications, you agree that any Disclosures provided electronically carry the same legal weight as if they were provided in paper form. Your authorization is confirmed by pressing buttons such as “I accept,” “Submit,” “Confirm,” “Verify,” or “I agree,” or similar indicators. This action serves as your electronic signature, which is legally equivalent to a signature on a paper document.
